Much of the info below has been provided by one of my hypnotherapy tutors – Mark Tyrrell of Uncommon Knowledge. Mark shares his story about how hypnosis helped him in so many ways. I hope you find it helpful and inspirational.

This is what you’ll get in the FREE hypnosis course…

#1: See through the hypnosis hype

For too long hypnosis has had a bad or ‘difficult’ press. Associated with the occult and supernatural, hypnosis has for decades been relegated to nothing more than a party trick for stage shows. Or, even worse, akin to voodoo or black magic.

The thing is that if you don’t understand something you…

a) might be sceptical and dismiss it immediately
b) conclude it is dangerous and to be avoided at all costs
c) or spend time discovering the truth behind the hype.

If you don’t know much about a topic it’s easy to be suspicious…

Some people assume hypnosis is akin to a carnival side show, others consider it mystic mumbo jumbo or ‘mind control.’ Indeed, there are many myths about hypnosis that need exploding! For those who want to look beyond the hype the truth is far more illuminating.

That’s what the FREE 5-part video course aims to do: see through the hype, mystery, and misconceptions of hypnosis so that you understand exactly what it is.

#2: Why hypnosis is the most powerful tool you possess

There are potentially huge benefits for those who use hypnosis as part of everyday life. When you understand hypnosis you start to see its potential to improve human performance in the physical, emotional and intellectual realms.

For me, rumour, gossip and suspicion weren’t good enough. I was determined to learn all I could about hypnosis…

I learned every fact and practised every technique under the sun. I took several training courses – some good, some terrible. I invested thousands of hours of devoted study to hypnosis and discovered just what is possible.

I hypnotised friends, neighbours and work colleagues.

Hypnosis greatly changed things for me on a personal level…

#3: How hypnosis helped me go from shy to confident

I used to suffer from shyness. Thanks to hypnosis I can now talk to thousands at a time and can approach anybody calmly and confidently.

I used to have poor concentration and would procrastinate. But thanks to hypnosis I can instantly motivate myself.

I used to find physical work outs and exercise exhausting but because of hypnosis I am now in the best shape of my life.

Incidentally I also stopped myself blushing with hypnosis. Now, if ever I have a difficult call or conversation coming up, something I may naturally feel reluctant to do (you know the kind of thing) I spontaneously self-hypnotise and rehearse the upcoming situation feeling good, with myself remaining calm.

In this way I habitually set my own emotional ‘blueprints’ for up-coming situations.

Having said that, it’s natural that some people have concerns about hypnosis. A common one is the idea that hypnosis is some kind of ‘mind control.’

But let’s look at the truth…

#4: Why you are more in control in hypnosis

If someone expresses concerns about being ‘controlled’ in hypnosis, what they mean is they don’t want to be like a robot – an automaton that is forced to obey the every whim of the hypnotist.

We’ve all seen ridiculous stage shows on TV where it appears the hypnotist has complete control over the audience.

But you have to be willing to enter the hypnotic state: it is your choice. And once there, you actually have more control because you are in touch with powerful inner resources, such as your imagination. Resources that have the potential to help you make amazing transformations.

When we talk of using hypnosis, what we’re really referring to is a method of accessing instinctive templates where changes can be ‘programmed in’.

#5: What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis isn’t like a coma. You don’t become unconscious. You don’t fall asleep. And you certainly don’t ‘go under’!

Hypnosis is more like a subtle shifting of consciousness, much like when you slip into a daydream. Indeed, hypnosis is about triggering the REM state (the same state we do most of our dreaming in when asleep).

In hypnosis, you remain awake but have access to the dreaming brain; you can still think logically but you also have access to the ‘software’ of your subconscious mind so that you can update instinctive emotional and behavioural responses. In fact, the hypnotised subject calls the shots – not the hypnotist.

When I hypnotise someone I need to go at their speed and respond to their needs and expectations. I follow their lead.

Therefore, when you learn hypnosis in the free video course you will gain more control in your own life because it helps you strengthen and re-programme inner resources.

Hypnosis for mind-body healing and transformation

Over the decades I’ve seen all kinds of people, covering all ages and from all backgrounds turn their lives around thanks to hypnosis.

When you learn hypnosis for yourself it will help you feel more confident in all kinds of ways. When you use it to change other’s lives it just blows you away. This is what I mean…

When I first hypnotised someone to feel no sensation in a painful arthritic arm it was an incredible feeling.

When I first cured life long phobias quickly and comfortably I was astounded.

When I stopped hardened alcoholics from drinking and even got a heroin addict off the stuff and back into mainstream life again I felt angry that people could just associate hypnosis with entertainment.

With the aid of hypnosis I (and many people I have trained and worked with) have helped severely depressed people feel strong and positive again.

The rewards and satisfactions are hard to describe.

I’m going to take a stand against ignorance and short sightedness around hypnosis and here’s why…

Reclaiming and using hypnosis for yourself: download the free course and feel the difference

Hypnosis is your birthright. It is nature’s optimum learning and re-programming tool. In fact, to learn and perform anything well you need to experience a natural focusing of attention, a natural kind of hypnosis.

To be successful, hypnosis needs to become your companion and friend.

Successful people use it naturally all the time because hypnosis is a natural, everyday occurrence. It’s the way we learn new responses. It’s the way we focus our minds.

And unlike medication, the side effects of hypnosis are purely positive; one expectant mother I worked with to feel relaxed during childbirth later reported that she was also more relaxed…when flying!

The thing is when you learn hypnosis everybody can benefit. When you feel better in your life, others will pick up that more positive, optimistic energy.

Ultimately, hypnosis gives you more control of yourself and your life and perhaps more significantly, it enables you to develop yourself as a human being. Perhaps that is why we have this gift called hypnosis…to help you become all that you’re capable of being…
